From a young age I've taken a keen interest in sport & fitness. As a teenager I played rugby for surrey as a flanker & played many other sports. This evidently involved using gyms as part of training. From then on I moved to use other gyms & caught the bug. Its buzz & feel good factor helped me decide that this was the industry for me.
Having gained my YMCA level 2 & 3 qualification I have worked in the Pavilion gym since 2004, during which time I have progressed into the role of Fitness Manager, overseeing the day-to-day running of the gym. I have increased my experience across the board, from functional resistance training-whether it is for strength or conditioning-to assisting clients with injury rehabilitation (i.e. hip & knee replacement) & weight management. I am also qualified in core training & Client Lifestyle.
I strive to inject creativity, fun & variety into my sessions, while also ensuring an effective & progressive exercise routine to help my clients on their road to success.
I have been a regular gym goer for many years and I decided to give personal training a try to shake up my workout.
